WIGGINS, DEEB EXPLODE OFFENSIVELY TO TAKE GAME 2 OF DH

AGUADA, PR – The Plattsburgh RedBirds took the second game of todays double header from the first place Islanders by the score of 11-7.

The  offensive attack  was led by Anthony Wiggins who had 3 hits in the day scoring 2 runs and 2 RBIs.   It was a team hit fest as the RedBirds combined for a total of  12 hits  with Armando Valentin, Michael Deeb, Raul Shah and Dale Urquhart Jr all having 2 each.

Michael Deeb was a run producing machinge as he finished with 2 runs and 4 RBIs .

The Islanders would rally back in the 4th and 5th inning scoring a total of 4 runs off RedBirds pitching but it wouldnt be enough as the offense provided enough scoring to stay ahead and get the victory.

The RedBirds starter Adam Falcon is credited with the  victory as the Plattsburgh RedBirds improve to (10-15) for the season  just one game back of the top 4 qualifying spots in the standings.
